Arabian Canal

A wonderful place to spend your holiday, see around the Arabian Canal, this canal will be the world's longest artificial canal, with 75 km long. The dig of the Canal will start near the Dubai Marina area smooth inland around the massive area for planned Jebel Ali International Airport and wind its way to enter the sea once again at the outer end of Palm Jebel Ali. Dubai Waterfront forms the first phase of the larger Arabian Canal effort. The Arabian Canal will give rise to some truthfully astonishing developments even by Dubai property standards. The delta forms the base from which Dubai Waterfront will extend several kilometres out into the sea, far away from Palm Jebel Ali. The Palm Jebel Ali will form about a fifth of the enormous reclaimed component of the project. The Dubai Waterfront took two years to plan and is bigger than Manhattan and Beirut in size. The first phase of the project will concentrate on building Madinat Al Arab, a downtown type metropolis.

Big Pineapples

In the beginner of this year, I had the pleasure of being inside of a pineapple. This 17m huge fruit is located at Summerhill farm Bathurst, near Grahamstown. Eastern Cape. South Africa. I’ve enjoyed the experience, and I surprised my self when this week I saw on the TV that in Australia there’s also one.

It seams that this Big Australian Pineapple is a famous tourist attraction and is situated near Nambour, Queensland. And is 16m high, and was build originally in 1971.
Well, maybe next year on my next holidays I will visit this twin brother.

Hotel Reservations and more...

Today I woke up with a will of doing something new for my Christmas holidays, thought a while and after reading my newspaper, precisely in the leisure area, I saw that they were doing publicity to a site of hotel reserves called hotelreservations.com. And according to the grapevine it seems that it’s reliable. We are going to have a look. A great advantage is the possibility of choose the Web Site in our language and currency. So let's look for a hotel in the city where I am going stay, select the city, the date of check-in and check-out, the nº of persons who go with me and this step is done. If you compare prices with other sites you will conclude that they are very competitive. For raisin the night it was very easy, now how do I arrive there? I need to catch an aeroplane, it’s easy, First of all what air company will I select? Second step choose my city and the city of destiny, date of departure and date of return. I can do the same with flights, do a simulation on several air companies and choose the best for my pocket. Now that I already have a flight, how do I manage to travel during my holidays? I am going to rent a car! Once again, thanks to this stunning site I can rent also a vehicle, indicate which city I intend to lift the vehicle, the day of the lifting and the day of delivery, the type of car and finally I just need to choose the rent a car company. I can always choose vacation rentals, or can decide for vacation packages; here I can find great benefit in choosing vacation packages. Pick a location: Cancun, London, Los Angeles, Paris or Rome, you name it. Indicate from when to when I will be there and search. Ways of payment, nothing easier than using Visa, mastercard or American express. After all that, can I ask more? Clearly not, I known that I can count on with the security of this web site.
