This site has been an ongoing effort for nearly five years. Through help from many people around the world, they have added new languages and features every year. For this they are thankful. The popularity this has enjoyed by millions of viewers has been overwhelming, and they would like to ask you to help make the site grow.

If you can help with any of the following, it would be sincerely appreciated:


1) Addition of new languages with a greeting for Christmas and New Year. There are 6712 recognized languages in current use. They now have only 5% of them listed with a greeting. Please send it yours!

2) They would like to add an audio section to the site with the greetings being spoken. If you speak the language you are submitting, or any of those already listed, please send them a digital audio file which they can use on the site. It would be great to have many of the greetings in audio form soon.


3) If there are other features you would like to see added, they would appreciate your input. It is always appreciated.

The highest Christmas tree of Europe.

This Christmas tree weigh about 280 tons and it has a height of 76 meters, exactly the same as the Torre dos Clérigos on the same beautiful city of Oporto. It’s considered the highest of Europe, as a matter of fact this is the third city where this tree is mounted, after having the pleasure of being raised in Warsaw and Lisbon. Who knows, maybe next year it could be in your city?
