RedBull AirRace 2007 - Perth

The two special charted airplanes jets carrying 125 tonnes of equipment, including the planes parts that Bonhomme and Mangold use specially, airlifted the bulk of the air race material on flights in late September and early October. Also another 19 fully packed containers containing more equipment that were shipped from the European of Istanbul, London, Budapest and Porto. in total it makes about 220 tonnes was air transported or sea shifted to Perth, and this does not include the 270 international Red Bull Air Race crew members.
After Perth, the equipment will be packed up again with in four days, airlifted or shipped back to different locations for maintenance over the winter and to get ready for next season’s first race in 2008.


But Meanwhile...

About 300.000 people are expected to assemble in Perth's beautiful Swan River to eyewitness the final event on the 2007 Red Bull Air Race World Series calendar. The race will take place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November, with the Qualifying Round on Saturday and the Finals on Sunday.
